Summary: Moses Snowden, 5th USCC Co. L. Moses was enrolled on September 19th, 1864. He died in Helena, Ark, on March 3, 1866 of pneumonia. Ellen [Coleman] Snowden is the widow of Moses who is applying for a pension; they got married in 1859. Both resided in Jefferson county, and Ellen continued to live in Jefferson county after Moses’ death. The pension claim has been stamped “Dropped.” Ellen and Moses had four children (three of them are not listed on the Widow’s declaration): Sarah, Jack, Thomas and Moses.
