Summary: William served in the 119th USCI, Co. F. Died of Smallpox at Bowling Green, Kentucky on March 23rd, 1866. Pensioner was William’s Widow, Winnie Mitchell, who lived in Fayette County, Kentucky at the time of filing. Winnie and William had two children; John and Stephen. William was previously enslaved by Leroy Mitchell (presumably of Garrard Co.) No depositions in this file.
