Summary: Sarah Anderson, a resident of Jefferson County, Kentucky, is the widow of Dover Anderson, a private in Company G 108th Regiment USCT. The soldier was enrolled on 9 July 1864, and died 22 October 1865 at Okolona, Mississippi of Typhoid Fever. Their marriage occurred about twelve years ago. There are no children reported of this relationship. The document was admitted 10 December 1866 with a pension of $8 per month commencing on 3 October 1865. Document is stamped with the date that states the pensioner was dropped from the rolls 12 September 1895 because she is dead.

Summary: Sarah Anderson, resident of Louisville, Kentucky, aged 30 years old, states she is the widow of Dover Anderson, a Private in Company G 108th Regiment USCT infantry. Document states he died in Aberdeen, Mississippi on November 1865 of disease. Sarah declares she married Dover in 1854 and has remained a widow since his death. Sarah states she and Dover were slaves until his enlistment. Dover was owned by Frank Anderson and she was owned by Jos. Durham, both of Greensburg, Green County, Kentucky. Sarah states she has never had any children by Dover, or anyone else.
