Summary: Pensioner was Robert’s mother, Julia Baker, who lived in Cumberland County, Kentucky, at the time of filing. Robert served in the 107th USCI, Co. C and died in Virginia during October of 1864 from typhoid Pneumonia. Robert’s former enslaver of Cumberland, Jim Baker, did not give consent for his enlistment.
