Summary: Alfred Jackson was married to and had children by Rachael Taylor (married on February 28, 1861). They had three children: Jennie (1862), Kitty (1863) and Alice (1864). Rachael eventually remarried to Morrison Taylor on August 4, 1866 in Oldham County. Alfred Jackson and Rachael lived together as man and wife in Oldham County, Kentucky. Alfred (122nd USCI, Co. B) was drafted and mustered into service on October 4, 1864, at Louisville, Kentucky. However, he died on January 26, 1865 of typhoid fever in Baltimore, Maryland.
