Summary: Widow, Sarah McFerrin. Hiram and Sarah were residents of Boyle County, Kentucky. They had four children: John (1860), Amanda (1862), Robert (1864), and Lewis (1865). Hiram was assigned to the heavy artillery unit and died in 1866 of the Small Pox in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1870 there is a pension note that the pensioner had been adjudged a lunatic.
