A large number of Parent
Salmon are impounded in the
reservoir at Tide-Head:[?] last
accounts describe them to be in as
good healthy condition, and that
every reliance may be placed upon
getting a large supply of eggs from
them. -- Mr. Mowats efforts to
obtain supplies of spec-trout eggs
have not been very satisfactory,
he is however still pursuing the
work in order to secure what ova
he can.--
