Deputy Minister of Fisheries

Ottawa

Sir

I forward herewith a letter from Mr from Mr. Thos. Mowat of B.C. in which he suggests sending his brother Maxwell (who has been very ill for some time) to take charge of a greater number of eggs than first contemplated, and that Maxwell shall upon his return to B.C. bring back with him a lot of the Atlantic Salmon eggs. There is no doubt that the ova would arrive here more safely if in the charge of some one specially caring for them en-route
