January 1936

2 Thursday The watches are as follows. Port watch started at 7.P.M. and finished at 12 oclock when the Starboard watch goes on to 4 A.M. when the Port watch takes over again.

Port watch 7 p.m. to 12 p.m. 4 a.m. to 8 am 1 pm I am in the port watch with 9 others and find it rather interesting although being roused at the different hours is rather strange.

5 Sunday The "Moshulu" is the largest all steel sailing ship in the world, & the finest of her genre to survive. Built in Port Glasgow, Scotland by a German company in 1904, she now harbors a major maritime Exhibit & unique speciality restaurant at Penns Landing Philadelphia
