Cecil Maxwell. With a capable list
of officers, we were under way for a
fine year.

Some of our clas obtained membership
in the FFA, JHA, and Glee
Club. Marion Roper and David Leopard
represented our class in student
council. Shirley Henderson, Marion
Roper, and Scott Pyron were on the
Eagle Staff. Barbara Woodall was
elected cheerleader. Tommie Ingle,
Loretta Allison, Mary Badger, Shirley
Henderson, and Lois Owens had their
first try at high school basketball.
Mary Badger and Loretta Allison were
chosen for the Beauty Section of the
annual. Barbara Woodall and Loretta
Allison were May Day attendants.

In the sophomore class, there were
fifty-seven members. Sponsors were
Mrs. Sara Fair and Mrs. Cecil Maxwell.

This year the class entered clubs
other than FFA, JHA, and Glee Club.
There were members in the Block "T"
Club, other entering the sports field,
and five were selected for membership
into the Beta Club. Those entering the
Beta Club were Lee Bayne, Marion
Roper, Dorothy Vaughn, Shirley
Henderson, and Scott Pyron.

Tommie Ingle, Shirley Henderson,
Barbara Woodwall, Scott Pyron, and
David Leopard represented our class
in the Student Council.

In spors, David Leopard played
ones of the past year. Mary Badger
played basketball along with the same
one of the past year. Mary Badger
was elected cheerleader, and Barbara
Woodall was elected head cheerleader.

Tommy Ingle, Barbara Woodall,
and Mary Badger were sponsors at
homecoming.

The sophomores elected Evelyn
Copeland and Tommie Ingle for Mat
Day attendants. Joyce Moore and
Barbara Anne Lindley wee featured
in the beauty section of the annual.

The sophomores were also represented
by a Student Body office. Scott
Pyron was elected by the students as
Secretary of the Student Body.

Fifty- two were enrolled when September
rolled aroud for our Junior
