BOOSTER CLUB[Underlined]
The last of football season,
mothers of several sports players
started a Booster Club. In
doing so, they are raising money
to be used for insurance and to
buy parts of uniforms. ONe way
of raising money is through the
"Little Country Store." Anyone
having old and used clothes and
toys, please donate them to the
"Country Store" to be sold for
profit.
Another way of making money is
by selling Booster Club stickers
which are sold for $1.00.
Support your teams by buying
these stickers and donating
articles to the "Country Store".

DRAMATICS CLUB[Underlined]
On Monday night, February 25,
the Dramatics Club of Taylors
High held their first organized
meeting. The club discussed
rules and voted on students that
were eligible for the club. The
ones voted in were: Tom Patrick,
Peggy Jones, Gail Moss, Jimmy
Wilson, Lewis Bennett, and
Carolyn Butler. The club voted
to let Mrs. Hendrix be an
honorary member since she has shown
a great deal of interest in
dramatics. All students being
considered for membership have
accepted and will be initiated
soon.
A Variety Show was discussed,
but the idea was not carried out.
Refreshments were served, and
the meeting was adjourned.

GLEE CLUB NEWS[Underlined]
The Glee Club is planning a
Spring Concert which will be
coming up soon. Miss Wilbanks
is working on the production now.
The Music Department hopes to
get pins or emblems to signify
membership in the Glee Club.
BETA CLUB NEWS[Underlined]
Although the Beta Club's candidate
for State President, Tom
Patrick, was unsuccessful, the
Betas made many friends and had
a grand time at the Convention.
Beta's Tom James, Tom Patrick,
Larry Taylor, Larry Owens, Gail
Moss, Catherine Allison, and
Emily Cunningham attended and.
were accompanied by Mrs. Lilla
Jones and Mrs. T.M. Patrick.
The Beta Club is now handing
out invitations to eligible tenth
graders and the public initiation
ceremony will be held in chapel
shortly.

JUNIOR CLASS NEWS[Underlined]
The Junior Class held a meeting
Thursday, March 14. The date of
May 10th was set for the Junior
Senior Banquet to be held at the
Elk's Club in Greenville.
The motion was introduced to
sell doughnuts as a means of
financing the Junior-Senior and was
passed. The doughnuts will be
sold for 50¢ a dozen. If anyone
