Trieste, Italy.
Perhaps we have received no finer evidence of cordiality and good-will than we received from the Rotary Club of Trieste. The beautiful piece of carved limestone from the Carso Mountain was quarried at much expense. It weighed 570 pounds. It was well crated and the freight charges paid to this country. The beautiful illustrated book about Trieste was also sent by the Rotary Club of that city. Surely, surely, we must be as friendly and courteous toward Italy as the Rotary Club of Trieste has been toward us.
