The State of Alabama In Circuit Court
Shelby County At March Term 1854
The Grand Jury of said County charge
that before the finding of this indictment
John Large a licensed retailer sold gave
or delivered to one Georgw R Brantley a pupil
of a school or academy, vinous, fermented
or spirituous liquor without the consent
of the parent or guardian or person having
charge of such pupil, against the peace
and dignity of the state of Alabama.
And the Grand Jury of said County further
charge that before the finding of this
indictment John Large a licensed retailer or
person keeping vinous, fermented or spirituous
liquor for sale, sold, gave or delivered
to one Robert Gardner a pupil of a school
or academy, vinous, fermented or
spirituous liquor without the consent of the parent
or guardian or person having charge of
such pupil, against the peace &
dignity of the State of Alabama.
