{a Lunatic} Shelby County } In Probate Court
Regular Term June 14th 1897
{Order passing} In the matter of the Estate of HH Bailey a
{a/c} Lunatic, John Bishop Guardian
This being the day heretofore
appointed by the Court for auditing and settling the
accounts and vouchers of said John Bishop, Guardian
for the final settlement of said Estate, and publication
having been made as prescribed at a former Term, the
Court proceeded to hear and determine the same
No one appearing to contest the same. And it
appearing from said account that said John
Bishop, Guardian has received in money and
is chargable with the sum of Two hundred and four
dollars and ninety one cents and that he has
produced satisfactory evidence of the correctness of credits
to the amount of One hundred and sixty four dollars
and thirty four cents, thus leaving a balance due
said estate from the Guardian of said Bailey of Forty
dollars and fifty seven cents: It is ordered and
decreed by the Court that the account thus stated
be passed and allowed and that the same be recorded
It is further ordered that said John Bishop pay
the cost of the administration of said estate up to
date, for which execution may issue if necessary

Order probating will } Regualr Term June 10th 1896
{Order probating} This being the day regularly appointed for
{Will} hearing the application of C.C. Oliver which was
heretofore filed in this Court for the Probate of an
instrument of writing, purporting to be the last will
and testament of Laura A. Oliver, deceased; Now
comes the said applicant and moves the Court
that his application be granted; and it appearing
to the satisfaction of the Court that the notice of
the said application and of the time appointed
for hearing the same has been given in pursuance
of law, and in strict accordance with the former
order of this Court, made and entered in the
premises on the 21st day of Feby, 1896, by
publication contenued for 3 successive weeks in The
Chronicle a newspaper published in Columbiana Ala
