{Lands of the} In the matter of petition of Mary } In Probate Court,
{John Teague} T and JN Taylor, for sale of certain } Shelby County, Alabama,
{Estate} real property for Division } Special Term, Jany 17th 1898

This day came Mary T and J.N. Taylor, and
{Order on petition} filed their application in writing and under oath setting
{for sale of--} forth among other things that they reside in this County
and are of full age; that they and John Jones, Mariah
Searight, and Emiline Sanders are the joint owners of
certain real estate situated in this County which is
particularly described in said application; that said
property cannot be equitably partitioned or divided a
without a sale of the same; and that it would be to
the interest of all parties to sell the said property for the
purpose of partition and division; and praying this
Court to decree the said property to be sold, and to make
and issue all such orders as may be necessary to effect
the sale thereof for such purpose; Whereupon, it is
ordered and decreed that the 21st day of Feby, 1898,
be and it is hereby appointed a day for the hearing
of said application; and all of said parties in interest
being shown to be non-residents except petitioners, it
is hereby ordered that theu said non-residents, be
given notice and so brought into Court by
publication for 3 successive weeks in "The Peoples' Advocate,"
a newspaper published in said County and further
that a newspaper containing such notice, with a black
line drawn around such notice be sent by mail post
paid to each of said parties residing out of the state

In the matter of the Estate of James M Gorman

And now on this day, comes W.A. Gorman and
presents to the Court his petition in writing, under
oath praying that Letters of Administration on the Estate
of James M. Gorman deceased, issue to him which
petition is examined by the Court and ordered to be filed and
recorded; and it appearing to the Court from the allegations
contained in said petition, and from other good and
sufficient evidence that the said James M. Gorman
departed this life at his home in Shelby Co Ala, on or about
the [blank space] day of [blank space] 18[blank space] being at the time of his
death an inhabitant of Shelby County, Alabama; that
he died leaving assers in this State which assets, both
