contest the same, except J.H. Hammond, the
Guardian ad Litem heretofore appointed, who appeared and defended
on behald of the said minors and denied each item of said
account and demanded proof of same. And it appearing
from said account that said James McGowan as such
guardian has recieved in money and is chargable with the
sum of Twenty-five and 60/100 dollars, and that he has
produced satisfactory evidence of the correctness of credits to the
amount of Twenty five and 40/100 dollars, thus leaving a
balance due said estate from the guardian of said minors,
of twenty cents. It is ordered and decreed by the
Court that the account thus stated be passed and
allowed, and that the same be recorded and that said
resignation of said Guardian be accepted and recorded
It is further ordered that said James McGowan as
Guardian pay the cost of the administration of said estate
up to date, for which execution may issue, if necessary.

In the matter of the Estate of Needham Acton,
{Order setting day} Deceased,
{for settlement} And now, on this day, comes A.C. Acton as
Administrator of the Estate of Needham Acton, deceased,
and presents to the Court, under oath his accounts and
vouchers for a partial settlement of his administration,
and therewith also presents under oath, a statement of the
names, ages, residence and condition of the heirs and
distributees of said estate, in form as required by law.
It is thereupon ordered that said account, vouchers,
evidence and statement be placed on file for
inspection of all concerned and that the 14th day of March,
1898, be set for examining and auditing said account,
and that notice of the filing of said account and
vouchers, and the day set for hearing the same, be
given by posting, for three successive weeks at the Court
House door and three other public places in said County,
notifying all persons intrested to be and appear
before this Court, on the 14th day of March 1898,
to show cause, if any, why said account should not be
