Eva showed a worn scapular of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and said that she wore
this whenever she went out into the woods to protect her. The scapular protects
her from anything dangerous that might possible happen. She said, specifically,
that she was especially afraid of snakes. The scapular protects her from poisonous
snakes so she doesn't accidentally step on one or find one.
She wears it pinned to her slip in front, indicating the left side of the slip near the top.
