Roving gang of fellas - went all over the
area - Trood on us to broke into homes - were
chased by group of Eckley "Vigilantes."
Shot at "low" so they wouldn't be hurt.

"Only trouble we ever had"

Coal & Iron Police - watched to see that
people wouldn't pick the coal - arrested.

"If you were Arrested the Co. would fire you so you
had to move or change your name."

Union - Non union people had arguments
But never really BATTLED.
