I have the honor to inclose you, by direction of the

Bishop of London, for the information of the Committee having in charge

the formation of a Constitution and laws for the Government of a University

on an extensive foundation in the United States, under the of

the Church,- the following documents : -

1. The London University Calendar, "which contains a Copy of the

Royal Charter, and of the Bye laws and negotiations. -

2. The Charter and Bye laws of University College, London " together

with various matter minted papers relating to the College. -

Also a Copy of University Coll. Calendar -

The Bishop of London had also directed me, to obtain for you,

a similar set of documents from Kings College, London , - but you will

recieve from encloved letter, which I have received from the College

Secretary, that they are already on their way to you . -

The information should have been forwarded to you before

this, only I have had to want for the new calendars to you
