Legation of the United States,
London 27 Sept. '59.

Revd. & Dear Sir,

I hasten to say that the letter of the 10th inst.
with which you have honored me, was received a few days ago,
and that it will give me pleasure to aid in attaining its objects.

By the Steamship of Saturday next, the Africa,
I will forward to the Department of State, addresed to you, Sir,
copies of each of the Reports made by the Commissioners on the
two Universities. They will be retained there subject to your
directions, which it may be expedient to communicate to Genl. Cap
without delay. They form a large and heavy package of Blue
Books.

With the highest respect,
Your most obedient servant

G. M. Dukas

To the Rt. Rev Bishop Otey.
