My Dear Bishop

I regret that I cannot
accept the invitation to be present
at the laying of the Corner Stone
of the University. Nothing would
give me more pleasure but it
will not be convenient for me to
be absent from home at that time
Several persons in our neighborhood
speak of going -- We are all
wel. -- Nothing of special interest
in my parochial duties -- I go
to Covington to officiate every
Wednesday night. -- I hope we
will be able to relieve the Church
there from debt. --
