received by last mail;
and did not circumstances
at home, forbid my
leaving, would gladly
avail myself of so
interesting an occasion
for visiting your beautiful
mountain scenery; and
to witness the laying of
the Corner Stone of an
institution, in the fate
of which I feel a deep
interest, and within the
walls of which, I hope
to have my boys educated.
