my day off than I do all the week around. I had a frock made by a woman who calls herself a dressmaker, & I was so disgusted I could have cried. It was a piece of material I was going to have made & keep till you came home, it is a pretty blue. I had to have something nice for Olive's wedding so I was going to wear it the once & put it in my wardrobe till later on. On Sunday I remade it & I am thrilled with my efforts; I didn't think it possible I could make it nice, but I like it so much now I don't even want to wear it to the wedding in case it gets soiled. I am making myself look nice for you now, and I will have the nice frocks when you come home this time.
