his company interesting, pet. He's full of fun. Of late I've been too occupied to see much of him. The only slight weakness in his good nature is his boyish manner. I get into such sober ways that I fail to allow for his youth in that respect. One word of warning though! Don't have anyone bring babies near him (It's his great obsession.)

My greatest victory at rifle shooting happened today. I moulded the 'Clay' to my liking so far as the above is concerned. They made the most outstanding scores. I went down myself & opened their eyes (& mine too) - 5 shots, & the lot could be covered by a sixpence. They all were in the one hole.

I made a note of your measurements, honey. At present there are no stocks left, but some ship may run the gauntlet.

This latest crisis is not too pleasant. I hope for your dear sake it comes to nothing. We'll be waiting if they do strike - as we have been [cut out] months.
