Pulled up at Mons about 8am for breakfast. Railway smash, Sgt Slate seriously injured.
Arrived Charleroi 3pm: billeted in Manufacturing Sheds. After supper took
stroll down Charleroi and attended Concert at YMCA

TUESDAY 28
Left Charleroi at 10am & marched to Chatelet 6 kilometres, where had
dinner, then alloted to billet in Belgium House
