Sir
I have the honor to request
that the Board of which you
are President, will be pleased to
take down in writing, the evidence
of the Master and Mates of the
Brig Harriet, and of the Pilot,
respecting the circumstances
under which that vessel got
aground on leaving Moreton Bay,
with an account of the damage
sustained, and whither from
that damage, any injury is
likely to result to the cargo
in proceeding to Sydney.
The Board will also be
pleased to take down the evidence
of any others, whom they or the
parties concerned may think
necessary.
