Sir I have the honor to transmit a Copy of a letter from the Assistant Surgeon at Moreton Bay soliciting the usual Forage Allowance for a Horse, and permission to embark a Horse at Sydney for his uses, which I request His Excellency the Governor will be pleased to sanction as it is understood, the Female Convicts on that Settlement are to be stationed at Eagle Farm a distance from Brisbane Town, and I conceive a Horse is necessary to enable Mr. Robertson so perform his various duties I have the honor to be Sir Your most Obedient Servant J.
