7th. Novr. 1835.

Sir
I have the honor to request, as
His Excellency the Governor has been
pleased to order my stay to perform
the Medical duties at Morton[sic] Bay
to be permanent, that leave may
be granted me to import a Horse
from Sydney to perform those
duties more regularly and punctually
at Eagle Farm, than I am at present
enabled to do, and that the usual
allowance of Forage may be obtained.
The necessity for a horse
to enable me to perform those duties
"Captain Clunie" late Commandant
here, will be able to satisfy
I have the honor to be
Sir
Yr. most. Obedient Servant
