Sir,
I have the honor to inform you that I have recently “taken up“ & am now occupying - as a sheep run - a tract of country on the river Boyne for which I am desirous to obtain a right of occupation; and as it is situated outside the limits of any Commissioners' district I have presumed to address you on the subject

subject trusting that you will be pleased to inform me if there are any (and which) means of acquiring a right to depasture stock on Crown Lands beyond the jurisdiction of any Commissioner of Crown Lands. -
On the river Boyne & its tributaries there are between thirty and forty (thirty five I believe) stations already occupied, and containing from 180,000 to 200,000 Sheep, besides Cattle: and as there is not one magistrate residing in the district, the appointment
