Sir,
In submitting the enclosed communication from Mess'rs Walker & Co, requesting to be allowed to defeat the forfeiture incurred by the nonpayment of the Rent of the 'East Haldon' Run in the District of Moreton, occupied by Mr J.J. Whitting; I do myself the honor to recommend under the circumstances that Mess'rs Walker & Co's request may be complied with on payment of the usual Fine - in addition to the Rent over due.
