heave in sight again for
some of us. We expect to
be in Glasgow tomorrow
morning. We sighted
"Ailsa Craig" in the 2nd
dog watch (from 6PM to 8PM.) the
night is very dark and
the Craig loomed very
large, while away behind
it twinkled the lights of
Ardrossan and the coast
villages. I turn in at
8 o'clock and resume watch
at four when I expect we
shall be anchored.

Octobr 18th Tuesday.

Turned out
this morning at 3.45, on deck
at 8 bells (4 o'clock). We anchored
