natural Park possesses little game, a few mountain goats, very few of the rare white grouse, the "whistling pigs," and some few timid bears. These inoffensive animals are being hunted down and will soon be exterminated, but should by all means be managed to live, increase and remain the live feature of a wonderfully beautiful and interesting a national Park.

It is earnestly recommended that your board make known this lamentable conditions of things in this valuable and important national Park Reservation for the American people to the Honorable Secretary of the Interior, for him to recommend such measures or steps, which in the premises seem to him needful.
