These columnar census sheets are impossible, the software strips out any extra spaces so they absolutely do not line up, and the original writer put the numbering in the second column between the name and the age, which is very confusing in this layout.
I think if we just use the line # (#33 - #88, and name and then age, it would work better. instead of two columns, it will be one long correct column.
Hello, and thank you both for working on this! Yes, just using the line number and age to make one long column works great.
Since the quotes in the original denote a "ditto" for the name above, for these census page transcriptions we're going to type that name out each time, rather than transcribing the quotes. I'll add a note about this for the other census pages, too.
