To the Hon the Mayor and
Common Council of the
City of Seattle

The undersigned res-
idents and property owners
residing upon and about that
certain portion of your city
called South Seattle respect-
fully represent that a certain
house situated in said South
Seattle called the "Bellevue"
and occupied by - Schneider
and - - - Schneider his wife
is a resort for drinking and
noisy conduct to the great
annoyance of the inhabitants
adjacent thereto. That liquors
are sold there and that minors
are from time to time about
said house intoxicated and
creating a disturbance to the
injury of society and quietude
of its neighborhood.

Your petitioners therefore
respectfully pray that means
may be taken by your honorable
body to prevent said
house from being so used
as a drinking house and
