To The Honorable Mayor and Common Council of the City of Seattle:

Gentlemen:

Your Committee on Sewers and Drainage
to whom was referred the Petition of G. W. Young and others
asking for the drainage of a pool at the
Southwest corner of Main and Fourth Streets
caused by excavating below the existing
sewerage.
beg to report that they recommend that the prayer of
the petitioners be granted, that the owners of
the property be notified to fill in or drain
said pool and that showed they fail
to do so within ten days the Street Com-
mission will be ordered to do the
necessary work at the expense of the
owner of the premises.
