To the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Seattle:-
Your petitioners, who are owners of property on or near the
line of the proposed street railway for which Mr. S L Bowman applied
on the 27th inst. to your honorable body for a franchise, repect-
fully petition your honorable body to grant said franchise, believ-
ing that the construction of said proposed line will assist in the
development of the portion of said city and of the adjacent country
through which it is intended to run, and will be of great benefit to
the whole city.
