To the Mayor and Common Council
of the City of Seattle.

Gentlemen:

Your petitioners, citizens and
taxpayers, on Lake Dell Ave, city of Seattle,
respectfully petition and solicit your
honorable body to extend the electric
light on said Ave. We ask there be
three arc lights, one on top of First
Hill north of Yestler Ave. Second on
the road at Richie's hill, third in
front of Hirple's [sic] grocery. We pray these
lights be granted us as it is very
daingerous [sic] to go down the hill at night.
