To the MAyor and Council of the City of Seattle Gentlemen: Your petitioners, property owners on James Street, object decidedly and strenuously to the building of a bridge over that Street at any point in it length. A bridge would mar its beauty, reduce its usefulness and greatly depriciate the valeu of our property. To the Mayor and Council of the City of Seattle Gentlemen The undersigned owners of Lots Five and 8 in Block 69 of Terry Plat addition, said Lots being on the East Side of Eighth Street between James and Cherry protest against the building of a bridge in front of our property A bridge there will be of no use to us but on the contrary will be in our way, it will be unsightly ugly and detrimental to out interest to the extent of many thousands of dollars, the established grade suits us and we want no departure therefrom.
