cribed are fully guarenteed for fire service
on slat water. Cast Iron pumps, lines
with suitable bronze composition are used
all over the world and are no experiment
The "Elmes" pumps are from 3/4' the 1&1/8" thick
and about the only pressure on castings
is the suction side and that when standing idle.
After using a set of fire boat pumps
made in Hudson New York Chicago has
bought two sets of "Elmes" pumps for
the two additional fire boats.
The "Elmes" pumps are also used in
the fire boat "Cataract' of Milwuakee
