Molders and Founders Cor Second and Jackson Sts P O Box 612 Seattle W T Sept 18th 1885 Gardner Kellogg Esq Chief of Fire Department Seattle W T Dear Sir, We will attempt to recast bell now in Engine House # 2 on the following conditions that if successful, the city shall buy the new bell and pay for it the sum of Fifty Dollars, and if not successful the city shall stand the loss of metal and we will stand the expense fo melting, casting etc. Repectfully Allmond & Phillips
