To the Honorable Mayor & Common Council
of the City of Seattle since my last Report
there has been seven(7) fire alarms only one(1)
that was of any loss that of Slorahn Malt
House & King Co Jail. We have received
750 ft more hose making in all about 2400 ft
both Engines are in good order. Both are supplied
with now heaters. The Pipes to all three Inclines
are in good order and have not bin without water
this winter by freezing or any other cause (notwithstanding
the complaint in last night's Herald)
I would ask if the Hook and Ladder apparatus
belongs to the city fire department or is it private
property.
