To the Hon Board of Fire Commissioners

Gentlemen

Your Committee apointed March 5th 1895 on applications would recommend that the applications herewith submitted to the Board be filed with the Chief of the Fire Department and that the Chief make his appointments from aplications which have been made since his appointment as Chief. Your committee would recommend that all appointments of the Chief in future be refered to a committee of three of this Board to be reported on by said committee before the Commission takes action on said appointments.
