Seattle
Gentlemen:-
The undersigned tax-payers of the City of
Seattle, respectfully submit to the consideration of your honor-
able body, the following :--That Front Street between Pike and
Blanchard Streets, be re-graded in such a manner as to do away with
the heavy grade, and the respective hill now existing.
The expenses of re-grading said street inculding dam-
ages to abutting property, to be born by the City of Seattle.
The great benefit to be derived from said improvements to the city
of Seattle at large is so apparent that we deem any argument in
its favor unneccessary.
