At a meeeting ofthe Board of Aldermen, held February 4, 1895,
it was observed that the enclosed petition of George Miester for a
water main on Fifth Street, be returned to you for the purpose of
ascertaining if it would pay to lay a pipe on Republican Street from
Albert to Brook Street, the number of consumers who would take water
and the estimated cost.
