To the Board of Public Works Seattle Wash.
The undersigned petitioners would earnestly call your attention to
the urgent need of an Arc Light to be placed on the north west
corner of Spring and Fourth Streets, this city. That portion of the
city is poorly lighted, and on and after January 21st, inst., the New
Presbyterian Church will be permanently occupied, and hundreds of
our Citizens going to and from the church woudl be greatly benefit-
ted by having such light placed as above indicated; and for the
placing of which we your petitioners do most respectfully ask your
earliest consideration.
