Gentlemen:-
In the matter of the petition of the Seattle Seminary for a
roadway from Fremont to the Seminary, the Board of Aldermen recom-
mend that the petition be granted on the understanding, that the
city furnish as much old lumber as can be spared in assisting to
make the improvement asked for.
