Gentlemen:
At a meeting of
this Com. held Aug 22nd 1891 A
Commisioner from the Seattle Ship
Building and Dry Dock Co making
a proposition to place the swivel
Nozzels on the Fire Boat was read
and referred to your Hon Body with
the recommendation that the proposition
be accepted and the nozzle given a
trial. This Board would respectfully
call your attention to the fact that
the matter was referred by you to
your Fire & Water Committee and as
yet no action had been taken or report
made by your committee: we would
further state that the matter
is one of great importance and should
neither be "pigeon holed" or ignored.
