Jones]] asking the City to purchase of him a certain portion of his water system mainly 322 ft of 1 1/2 in pipe on [[Yesler Avenue]] beg to report that this size of pipe would be of little use to the City as a part of its permanent water system, and that the purchase of this pipe from Mr. [[Jones]] would tend to establish a bad precedent in the city's relations with owners of water plants in the city.
