To the Honorable Mayor And Common Council of the City of Seattle. Gentlemen: The undersigned being the owners of a majority of the property within the limit named, would most respectfully request, that we be allowed to grade and sidewalk, at our own expense, under the direction of the City Surveyor, Kentucky Street from High Street north to to Villard Avenue. To the Honorable Mayor and Common Council of the City of Seattle: GENTLEMEN: Your Committee on Streets to whom was referred the petition of O D Stimpson et al to grade one block on Kentucky St be to report that the portion of street which the petitioners ask to be allowed to grade at their own expense and under the supervision of the City Engineer, is one of the most expensive blocks on said street and We respectfully recommend that the petitioners be allowed to grade Kentucky from the South side of High St to Villard Avenue T E Jones chairman Henry White committee Nov 1 1889
