To the Mayor & Common Council
of the City of Seattle
I wish to call your attention to the
following facts. A sewer from
Providence Hospital has until the past
week been allowed to discharge into the street,
on my complaint to the Health officer
a ditch was dug to carry it some-
where else & it now comes to the surface under
the crossing of Fifth Street and Madison.
Out of regard to the Health of the
neighborhood, I earnestly request
that the whole sewerage system
of said hospital be examined into
by your honorable body at once.
